Rooted in Ridgewood Since 1945

Goffle Brook Farm & Garden Center brings families together with fresh produce, expert plants, and unforgettable seasonal celebrations in the heart of Bergen County.

About Us

Tucked along the banks of Goffle Brook, our family farm has been Ridgewood’s living heartbeat for nearly eight decades. From early spring seedlings to towering Christmas trees, every corner of our 10-acre property tells a story of soil, sun, and the generations who’ve planted their memories here. Kids still run the same pumpkin patch paths their parents once did, and parents still seek the same friendly faces who helped choose their first tomato plant. Whether you’re hunting for heirloom vegetables, handcrafted wreaths, or the perfect shade tree for your backyard, you’ll find the same commitment to quality that began with a single plow and a promise to grow things right. We don’t just sell plants and produce—we cultivate community traditions that bloom year after year.

What We Offer

Wander through our greenhouse bursting with vibrant annuals and hardy perennials, or shop our weekly farmers market stocked with just-picked berries, crisp greens, and local honey. Our expert staff offers free planting consultations, soil testing, and personalized landscaping advice. Celebrate Halloween with our famous pumpkin patch and family-friendly hayrides, then return for hand-tied wreaths and live Fraser firs at Christmas. We also provide wholesale plants and seasonal décor to local businesses and municipalities, plus delivery and planting services so your garden looks its best without lifting a shovel.

And love the Halloween fun they have. The mini petting zoo is my favorite and we go visit often. Thank you Goffle Brook farms for my family tradition of you"

"This is a great place. The staff is above and beyond helpful and perfect, and their quality is top-notch. Please shop local—even if it's a touch more effort than clicking a few buttons. The world needs family stores like this. Great holiday selections, and everything is fresh and beautiful."

"Stopped by today on a very HOT day to get the “to die for” sweet summer corn and was pleasantly surprised by all the gorgeous Fall decorations. A very knowledgeable staff member was so helpful and even brought my heavy Fall bushel plant to my car and into my trunk. She also told me that there would be a petting zoo in about 2 weeks and I will definitely bring my toddler grandkids! Great customer service!"

"This cute roadside garden center has a nice selection of plants, mums, and flowers for Fall. You can also find pumpkins from all sorts of sizes, white and orange, gourds, and some painted pumpkins as well. The inside shop is bigger than it looks from the front, and has a good variety of veggies, fruits, seasonal decor, and a few treats. Credit cards are accepted. Overall, prices are a bit steep here for both their mums and pumpkins. We stuck with just buying tiny pumpkins here due to the cost of the larger traditional sized pumpkins."
